Topics will include things like biblical studies, historical theology, current church events and liturgical history. We might study a section of the Book of Common Prayer, the Hymnal 1982 or an important figure in Christian History. |
Inquirers Class: Becoming an Episcopalian - February 21 and 28 and March 7, 14, 21 and 28
Ever wondered what Episcopalians believe about Jesus, the Cross, the nature of God , the Virgin Mary or sin? Ever wanted to be confirmed as an Episcopalian? Well, whether you want to experience the sacrament of Confirmation or just learn more about the Christian faith in the Episcopal tradition, the Inquirer's class is for you. This six week course, designed by parishioner Paul Bowen, will take you through history, theology and devotional practices aimed at deepening your understanding and faith in Jesus Christ.
The class will be held on February 21 and 28 and March 7, 14, 21 and 28. Class will begin at 12:30 pm and include a light lunch. Open to those in high school or older.

Mystic Valley Deanery Lenten Study Program - Wednesdays February 24 - March 24
Join Episcopalians from throughout the Mystic Valley Deanery this Lent
for learning and fellowship as we explore Gospel stories of healing and
new life. Each session will be held from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. and will
include a simple supper of homemade soup and bread. Bring a friend
and attend as many sessions as you are able.
