The funeral for Fr. Stowe will be held on Wednesday, January 20th at 11am at Trinity Church in Topsfield, MA. St. Pauls will be cancelling our weekly Eucharist on Wednesday morning so to allow parishioners the opportunity to travel to Topsfield. Please be in touch with one another on Sunday to organize carpools and the like.

WITH A VERY HEAVY HEART

Dear Friends,

This morning I received word from Bishop Bud Cederholm that our friend and former rector Fr. Stowe died last night.  I spoke with Fr. Stowe this Saturday past about his recovery and looked forward to spending time with him in the coming weeks. I, like you, am deeply shocked and saddened by this sudden news.

At this time there are no arrangements for his funeral, but please know that on behalf of the parish I've sent flowers and our collective condolences.  I also want to assure you that should the Stowe family wish to celebrate Dick's life and ministry here at St. Paul's that our doors and hearts will be wide open for the service and celebration.
