The Bethlehem School Welcomes New Director
Lynnfield, Mass. – August 14, 2009 – The Bethlehem School of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, which has offered a high quality preschool education in Lynnfield since 1956, has appointed a new Director to lead the school. Beginning August 19th, Jennifer Baez will assume the responsibility of Director.
The Reverend Michael Dangelo, rector of St. Paul's, said, "We are thrilled to be welcoming Jennifer to join our staff of talented educators. Her enthusiasm, commitment to both children and their families, and 19 years of experience working in the field of early childhood education will be invaluable as we build upon the strong foundation the school has always provided."

Speaking on behalf of the search committee that identified Baez, he added "Many strong candidates applied and were considered for the position. Jennifer brings with her a proven ability to foster a nurturing and enriching learning environment for young children."
Jennifer holds both Director and Preschool Teacher level certifications required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her previous work experience includes directing an established childcare center, teaching at North Shore Head Start and a variety of other teaching positions in both private and public school settings.
"I am very excited to accept the position of director at the Bethlehem School,” said Ms. Baez. “I think we are going to have a very exciting year. I am looking forward to meeting the families that are part of the
school and getting the school year started."
The Bethlehem School offers two, three and five day programs for children between 2.9 and 6 years of age. Child/teacher ratios range from 1:4 to 1:7. All teachers are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. The school offers a caring, developmentally appropriate, hands-on environment which allows children to develop to their maximum potential. The curriculum focuses on encouraging children's social, language, cognitive and physical development through a variety of individual and group activities.
