Saint Luke's Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry
St. Paul’s continues to support the Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry taking place at St. Luke’s Episcopal Parish in Chelsea. Sign-up sheets can be found in the New Room. Pick a date, grab a friend, join a team, don your apron and get ready to work hard and have fun. Please contact Jen Vath, jen.vath@comcast.net, with questions.

Thanksgiving at St. Luke's
St. Paul's is once again looking for volunteers to help with the annual joint Thanksgiving dinner at St Luke's which will serve approximately 80-100 parishioners and friends. The Service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving day (November 24th). It will be a bilingual (English and Spanish) service, with some of the traditional English hymns, and some bilingual ones. The St. Luke's-San Lucas choir & organist will perform.

Volunteers are needed to provide apple pies, cranberry sauce and potatoes. We will also need help peeling potatoes and working a 2- or 3-hour shift on Thanksgiving Day at St. Luke's. Please see the sign-up sheet in the New Room or contact Gayle Richardson at nudgewinkx@aol.com or 781-334-2176

Habitat for Humanity - Saturday November 19th
Do you have a gift of working with your hands? If so, then consider volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Work is continuing on the Park Street, Peabody projects. Many of us have worked on this and the Salem and Lynn projects and have found it to be a rewarding and fun experience. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, but no special skills are required. This is an excellent opportunity for fellowship and to extend St. Paul's outreach into the local community-in a hands-on way. Contact Carl Ogren at OgrenC@earthlink.net for more information.

White Cotton Sock Drive
We are collecting men's and women's socks for Ecclesia Ministries Common Cathedral. There will be a collection box in the narthex on November 6th, 13th & 20th.

DVDs for Vets
Saint Paul’s Outreach Committee is asking for your donations of new or used DVDs for our veterans. Please consider the subject matter carefully, to be appropriate for veterans confined to a hospital for surgery and treatments. Portable DVD player donations are also welcomed. The DVDs will be distributed to local veteran’s hospitals. A box has been placed in the “New Room” where you can leave your donations. Please contact Miriam Shafner, mshafner@verizon.net, if you have any questions.
