Construction Update - Last one!

On schedule and on budget, the construction/renovation of the Bethlehem School and Church are largely completed. If you were around Church this summer, you know how intense the construction activity was to meet the tight deadlines required to ensure the Bethlehem School was ready for the beginning of the school year. That deadline was particularly challenging because of upgrades required of the septic system which needed to be completed before other work could commence.

But as we finish out September, the School construction is done with only a few loose ends to complete. The outcome is beautiful and the children and teachers are already enjoying the new, efficient spaces developed during the renovation. Have you toured the School yet? You should!

Likewise, the renovations in the Church are mostly complete, with minor loose ends to take care of. New carpet, refinished pews, new doors and energy-efficient windows, new lighting and electrical work, a handicapped-accessible bathroom, air-conditioned work places -- all completed in time to kick off our new program year in September. And we've successfully begun a capital campaign to recoup the expense.

Congratulations and much gratitude to all who have worked so hard to make these important renovations reality!
