WHAT TO EXPECT
On Sundays at St. Paul’s, you will experience the liturgy that underpins our worship experience. You’ll receive a warm welcome and a service leaflet that helps you participate in the service.
At our Sunday Rite II Holy Eucharist service, you’ll hear Scripture readings, a sermon, and prayers leading to Communion. At Communion, members of the congregation come forward as they wish to receive the Sacraments, or they can choose to receive a blessing instead. All are welcome to receive Communion.
This service includes congregational hymns, choir, and contemporary language.
Elementary and middle school children are encouraged to attend Sunday school. A nursery is available for younger children. Coffee, snacks, and a chance to chat with fellow parishioners are available following the service.
Our Wednesday 10 a.m. Eucharist is more intimate and casual, without music. In place of a sermon, this service provides the opportunity to discuss the Scripture readings or the Saint recognized that day. Fellowship and discussion of Scripture readings, and sometimes books of interest, follow.
Our early Sunday Rite I service is a quiet Communion service without music, using traditional language.
