Although we missed our traditional Palm Sunday procession and the waving of palm fronds in the sanctuary yesterday, perhaps a new tradition has sprouted — branches at our front doors! Thanks to everyone who sent photos of YOUR home's branches. The Book of Common Prayer says any branch or shrub can be used to remember the excitement with which the Jerusalem crowed greeted Jesus, even though he knew he would soon be tried and crucified.
