Open Church: Ashes to Go

Although some of us still need to take down our Christmas wreaths, Lent is not far away. Ash Wednesday this year is on February 26th and plans are already in place to help us begin our Lenten observance, no matter how hectic our typical Wednesdays are.

On Ash Wednesday, St. Paul's will have "open church" from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. and again from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for those commuters (and others) who would like to stop by to have ashes imposed. Fr. Rob provided this service for the first time last year and said the response was wonderful, providing opportunities for many meaningful interactions with regular parishioners and others. So, if attending a service on Ash Wednesday isn't feasible in your schedule, please consider this way to take the first step on your Lenten journey.

If you want to attend an Ash Wednesday service, join us at noon for the Ash Wednesday liturgy and Eucharist.
