St. Paul’s celebrated its 100th Birthday at Eastertide in 2018. We had pondered how best to celebrate this historic event. Church and school renovations and upgrades were decided upon as a way to respect our past and look towards the future. There were plans, changes, tweaks, and some high energy and even tense meetings as this “One Body in Christ” discerned our collective goals and desired outcomes. And finally, on September 8th, 2019, we were able to worship in our newly upgraded sanctuary and enjoy a wonderful coffee hour in our redone Great Room to celebrate the completion of this fabulous project.
Now we must settle the finances of our renovations. We need $350,000 to pay back our loan to the Diocese and what we borrowed from our endowment. The good news is that we already have $153,500 pledged towards the capital campaign, and now need to raise $196,500 more. If forty more people were to pledge $20 per week for each of the next five years, our renovations would be paid for. Please prayerfully consider how you can help.
